Fully Skilled Plant Fitter Required

Pickerings Plant is a leading supplier to the construction industry,

with a driven focus on meeting all of our varied customer´s needs,

by supplying all of their plant machinery and site accommodation requirements.

The company is looking for a 'hands-on' enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter

who is comfortable working in a plant environment and ideally who has some previous electrical experience.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, the main activities will include;

- Delivery of a planned preventative maintenance program

- Breakdown repairs

- Fault diagnosis and repair

- Undertaking minor projects

- New mechanical installation

- Must be self motivated, driven and highly energetic

The successful candidate will be self motivated and highly energetic individual

who is a fully qualified fitter with over 5 years experience in a small to medium plant environment.

They must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces and have a strong working knowledge of mobile plant.

A fork lift truck license would be an asset. As would a current Class 2 LGV license.
